Who am I
I am a Brighton based producer/songwriter/multi instrumentalist. I grew up in the countryside south west of Munich. My musical journey started at the age of 6 when I got my first keyboard. Over the years I started playing in my high school Big Band and other bands. Because my high school big bands bassist was about to graduate I started to learn bass at the age of 14 and played my first gig on bass after only 6 months. By the age of 16, my first self composed big band arrangement was played live which even grabbed the attention of the local newspaper. Over the years I played in many different bands, lots of local gigs and taught myself guitar and accordion. In 2019, I moved to Brighton (UK) to study songwriting at BIMM. In those three years, I fully focused on music production and learnt my craft from musical geniuses like Grammy Award winner Pete Smith, Tobias May, John Gallen, etc. During lockdown, I started to produce and write songs with multiple artists. I record bands and artists from the country genre to pop and indie rock.
Session Musician
As a multi instrumentalist, I have lots of experience performing live and in the studio as a session musician. I think the key of being a good session player is to be reliable, diverse and being able to play what is asked of you. I’ve played as a session instrumentalist in pop, country and alternative indie rock bands across an array of venues. My main instrument is keys and bass, but I also play the guitar, accordion, ukulele and I’m enjoying learning saxophone.
Production
I dedicate the majority of my time to my production career, which is the thing that brings me the most joy. I discovered my love for production whilst studying in the UK and immediately started working with various artists to improve my skills and knowledge. For me, the experience of arranging, recording and creating a song it into a finished product is a great feeling because I know how much the songs mean to the artists and to their audience. I am also skilled at mixing and mastering because I know how important it is to give a song its finishing touches.
